Crypto & Bitcoin Casinos in Canada (2026): Where to Play and What to Check

Six crypto casinos that accept Canadians compared: coins, crypto payout time, licence and Interac for HellSpin, Roobet, DuckDice, Bspin.io, WinSpirit and iViBet
Crypto and Bitcoin casinos that accept Canadians, compared by coins, payout speed, licence and bonus, plus Ontario rules, USDT in Canada and how crypto is taxed.

Updated 2 November 2026

A crypto casino lets you deposit and cash out in Bitcoin, Litecoin, USDT and other coins instead of Interac or a card. For Canadians the appeal is speed: once a casino approves a crypto withdrawal, the coins can be in your wallet within minutes. None of these sites is licensed by a Canadian province, though, so it pays to know who runs each one, what it does with your ID and how a coin’s price can move while it sits in your balance.

Short answer: HellSpin is the easiest start if you want crypto and Interac in one account. Roobet and DuckDice are crypto-first, with large withdrawal limits and in-house games you can verify. Bspin.io runs its balance in fractions of a bitcoin and takes Lightning deposits. All of them are closed to Ontario, and every one can still ask for ID before paying out.

Best Crypto Casinos in Canada: Our Picks

1. HellSpin: crypto and Interac in one account

HellSpin takes about a dozen coins, including BTC, ETH, USDT and LTC, next to Interac, cards and e-wallets. Reviewers report crypto payouts within minutes of approval and Interac within hours. That makes it a sensible first crypto casino: you can deposit in Bitcoin and still cash out to your bank if you’d rather not sell coins yourself. The cap is about €4,000 a day in CAD equivalent, and HellSpin is on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission register.

Up to C$5,200 + 150 FS, 40x wagering, min. deposit C$30. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC). T&Cs apply. Not available in Ontario.

2. Roobet: crypto-first, with high limits

Roobet accepts 11 coins, from Bitcoin and USDC to Solana and Sui, and lets you withdraw up to $200,000 a day in crypto. Approved crypto withdrawals usually land in minutes, although some players have waited up to a day for Bitcoin. You pay the network fee, and for BTC and LTC you can pay more to jump the queue. There’s no standard welcome bonus at the moment; instead, RooWards rakeback returns part of every bet with no wagering on what you claim. Roobet holds a Curaçao licence (Raw Entertainment B.V.) and blocks Ontario. Read our Roobet review before you sign up.

3. DuckDice: provably fair dice and 30+ coins

DuckDice is built around dice. Its Original Dice and Range Dice games have a 1% house edge, bets start at one satoshi, and you can check every roll yourself. It takes more than 30 coins directly and converts over 100 more through its exchange. DuckDice says 99.8% of withdrawals are approved automatically; a manual review can take up to three business days. There’s no Interac, and cards only buy crypto through MoonPay. The operator is Zentari Limitada with an Anjouan licence.

Deposit bonus pack up to $5,000; check the wagering in the cashier before you opt in. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC). T&Cs apply.

4. Bspin.io: Lightning deposits and a balance in μBTC

Bspin.io takes 15 coins and Bitcoin Lightning, and shows your balance in μBTC (millionths of a bitcoin), so C$ amounts move with the bitcoin price. The minimum deposit is 0.0001 BTC, or 5 USDT/USDC. Withdrawals become instant once you reach rank 9; before that, and for your first cash-out, someone approves them by hand. New accounts can withdraw 5,000 μBTC a day. Bspin runs provably fair Originals such as Dice, Limbo and Mines, and holds an Anjouan licence.

5. WinSpirit: Bitcoin in about two hours

WinSpirit is a regular CAD casino that also takes crypto. In Casino.ca’s test, a Bitcoin withdrawal arrived in about two hours, against roughly three days for a debit card. The minimum withdrawal is C$50 and payouts are capped at C$40,000 a month. It holds a Curaçao licence (Complete Technologies N.V.).

Up to C$2,000 + 100 FS, 40x wagering. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC). T&Cs apply. Not available in Ontario or Alberta.

6. iViBet: crypto in hours, limits in CAD

iViBet lists about 15 coins and pays crypto in 1–12 hours, Interac usually in 24–48. Its limits are written in Canadian dollars: C$4,000 a day, C$16,000 a week and C$50,000 a month. It also has a sportsbook with NHL and CFL markets, and it’s on the Kahnawake register.

Up to C$450 + 170 FS, 40x wagering. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC). T&Cs apply. Not available in Ontario or Alberta.

20Bet and National Casino also take BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT next to Interac. Their crypto payout times aren’t published, so they’re not in the list above; see our 20Bet and National Casino reviews.

Under the Criminal Code, only a province can run or license online gambling. Ontario and Alberta license private operators, and the other provinces run their own sites, such as PlayNow in British Columbia. None of the regulated sites takes crypto. Ontario’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming say cryptocurrency is not legal tender and shall not be accepted, and player balances must be shown in Canadian dollars. Alberta’s newly licensed sites don’t take it either.

So every crypto casino open to Canadians is an offshore site licensed somewhere else: Kahnawake, Curaçao or Anjouan. In practice, enforcement in Canada has gone after operators rather than players, but an offshore licence gives you no Canadian regulator to complain to. If a dispute comes up, you go to the casino’s own licensing body. For BC specifically, see our guide to online casinos in BC.

Which Coin Should You Use?

Common casino coins compared for Canadian players: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC by speed, fees and price risk

Bitcoin is accepted everywhere, but on-chain transfers need block confirmations and fees rise when the network is busy. Bspin, for example, waits for six confirmations. Litecoin and Bitcoin over Lightning are faster and cheaper for small amounts, though few casinos support Lightning.

Stablecoins avoid price swings, because one USDT or USDC tracks one US dollar. Note that Coinbase, Kraken and Crypto.com stopped offering USDT to Canadian clients in 2023 under Canadian rules on stablecoins, so USDC is usually the easier one to buy here. With any coin, choose the same network on both sides. USDT on Tron and USDT on Ethereum are different networks, and coins sent on the wrong one are usually gone.

How to Deposit and Withdraw Crypto from Canada

Five steps to use crypto at an online casino from Canada: buy on a registered platform, copy the casino address and network, send a small test, play, withdraw to your own wallet
  1. Buy the coin on a platform registered with Canadian securities regulators. The Canadian Securities Administrators keep a public list, which includes Coinbase, Kraken, Newton, Shakepay and Wealthsimple.
  2. In the casino cashier, pick the coin and network and copy the deposit address. Some coins also need a memo or tag.
  3. Send a small test amount first and wait until it shows in your balance.
  4. Play, keeping in mind that a BTC-denominated balance rises and falls with the bitcoin price.
  5. Withdraw to a wallet or exchange account in your own name. Some casinos make you wager each deposit at least once before a withdrawal; Bspin and DuckDice both do.

Provably Fair Games: What You Can Check

Crypto casinos often build their own games, such as dice, crash, Plinko and Mines, and many publish a way to verify each result. The casino commits to a hidden server seed, you add a client seed, and a counter (the nonce) changes with every bet. After the casino reveals the seed, you can rerun the maths and confirm it didn’t change the outcome after you bet. DuckDice and Bspin both offer this for their in-house games. It only proves a single result wasn’t tampered with; it doesn’t change the house edge, and it doesn’t apply to slots from outside studios such as Pragmatic Play.

“No KYC” Crypto Casinos: What Actually Happens

When crypto casinos ask for ID: Roobet before larger withdrawals, Bspin.io above about €2,000, DuckDice at any time

Plenty of crypto casinos let you sign up with just an email, but that doesn’t mean they’ll never ask who you are. Roobet always verifies before larger withdrawals and sometimes at the first deposit. Bspin can ask at any withdrawal and always checks above about €2,000, including a selfie holding your ID, and freezes the account until the documents are reviewed. DuckDice can ask for ID, proof of address and source of funds at any time. Upload your documents before a big withdrawal, not after, and use your real details when you register.

Crypto Casino Bonuses

Crypto bonuses are often quoted in coins or in units like μBTC, so convert them to dollars before you compare. Bspin’s 100% up to 3,500 μBTC has 45x wagering, a max bet of $1 at the lowest ranks, and winnings capped at 10 times the bonus or deposit. DuckDice’s pack goes up to $5,000 over four deposits. Roobet has no welcome bonus right now but pays rakeback with no wagering. Casinos that take both crypto and CAD, such as HellSpin and WinSpirit, use their normal 40x offers. For no-deposit offers, see our free spins no deposit guide.

Crypto vs Interac at Canadian-Friendly Casinos

If you mainly want speed and already hold crypto, use crypto. If you want your winnings in CAD with the least paperwork, Interac at a fast payer is simpler. Our Interac casinos and fast payout casinos guides compare both.

Do You Pay Tax on Crypto Casino Winnings?

Gambling winnings of casual players generally aren’t taxed in Canada. The crypto is a separate matter. The CRA treats spending crypto on goods or services, swapping it for another coin or selling it for dollars as a disposition, and you report the gain or loss. Depositing Bitcoin at a casino can count as spending it, and so can selling coins you withdrew after the price rose. Canadian crypto platforms must report to FINTRAC when they receive crypto worth C$10,000 or more within 24 hours, and in 2020 the CRA obtained a court order for client data from the exchange Coinsquare. Keep a record of what each coin cost and what it was worth when you moved it, and ask an accountant if the amounts are large. This isn’t tax advice.

Crypto Casino FAQ

Are crypto casinos legal in Canada?

Provincially licensed sites don’t accept crypto; Ontario’s rules forbid it. Crypto casinos open to Canadians are licensed offshore, in places like Kahnawake, Curaçao or Anjouan. Enforcement in Canada has targeted operators rather than players, but you get no Canadian regulator if something goes wrong.

What is the best crypto casino in Canada?

HellSpin is the easiest choice if you want crypto and Interac in one account. Roobet suits high limits, DuckDice suits provably fair dice, and Bspin.io takes Bitcoin Lightning. None of them is available in Ontario.

Which crypto casino pays out fastest?

Roobet, HellSpin and DuckDice usually send approved crypto withdrawals within minutes. Your first withdrawal can take longer while ID checks are done.

Can I play at a crypto casino in Ontario?

No. Ontario’s licensed sites can’t accept crypto, and the crypto casinos in this guide block Ontario players.

Is there a crypto casino with no KYC?

Many let you sign up without documents, but all of the casinos here can ask for ID before a withdrawal. Roobet always checks before larger withdrawals, and Bspin.io always checks above about €2,000.

Can the CRA track crypto casino transactions?

Canadian crypto platforms must report to FINTRAC when they receive crypto worth C$10,000 or more within 24 hours, and the CRA has used court orders to get exchange client data. Report crypto gains and losses as you would for any other crypto use.

Do I pay tax on crypto gambling winnings?

Casual gambling winnings are generally not taxed in Canada, but spending, swapping or selling crypto can create a capital gain or loss that you have to report. Speak to an accountant if the amounts are large.

Which coin is best for casino deposits?

Bitcoin is accepted everywhere. Litecoin and Lightning are cheaper and faster for small amounts, and stablecoins like USDC avoid price swings. Always match the network on both sides.

How We Checked This Page

Casino details come from our full reviews, last checked in October 2026, which cite each casino’s terms and licence register. We opened DuckDice’s fairness page on 2 November 2026 for the screenshot above. Legal and tax points come from the AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming, the CRA’s guide to crypto-asset transactions, FINTRAC’s guidance on large virtual currency transactions and the CSA’s list of authorized crypto trading platforms. Coin lists, limits and bonuses change, so check the cashier and terms before you deposit.

Gambling should stay entertainment. Set a deposit limit before you play, and don’t add more crypto to chase losses. You must be 19 or older to gamble in most provinces (18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). If it stops being fun, see Problem Gambling in Canada for free, confidential help lines in each province.
