We checked that offer, the rest of the welcome package and the full terms on the official site from a Canadian connection on 2 November 2026. The casino is licensed and well rated by players. The bonus money, though, is much harder to cash out than the headline suggests.
Short answer: Captain Cooks is a safe place to try a casino for $5. Treat the 100 spins as a lottery ticket, not as bonus cash: whatever they win lands as bonus money with 200x wagering. Withdrawals start at $50 and take four to six business days.

The $5 Welcome Offer: 100 Chances to Win $1 Million
Captain Cooks splits its welcome package over five deposits. Only the first one is unusual:
- 1st deposit ($5 minimum): 100 spins on Mega Money Wheel, worth $0.10 each
- 2nd deposit: 100% up to $100
- 3rd deposit: 50% up to $150
- 4th deposit: 25% up to $125
- 5th deposit: 100% up to $100
That’s $10 worth of spins for $5, then up to $475 in match bonuses. The first deposit has to be made within 7 days of signing up.
What happens to the spin winnings
This is where the terms matter. Anything the 100 spins win is credited as bonus money, and the first and second deposit bonuses carry 200x play-through before they turn into cash. From the third deposit, it’s 30x. The one exception is the top prize: if you hit the Mega Money Wheel jackpot, support can convert that win to cash, but only if you ask before you bet any of it.
- $5 won from the spins means $1,000 in bets before you can withdraw it.
- Slots count 100% towards wagering; table games count 2%.
- Bets of 25% or more of the bonus value, and even-money bets on roulette, craps or sic bo, count as irregular play.
- Withdrawing your cash before the third deposit resets the bonus balance to zero.

Complaints can go to the Kahnawake commission at [email protected]. Players rate it 4.4 out of 5 from about 5,500 Trustpilot reviews, and the casino replies to almost all negative ones.
The complaints that do come up are about the 48-hour pending period, the $50 minimum withdrawal and small bonuses, not about winnings going unpaid. Two clauses stand out in the terms: big winners can be limited to $4,000 a week if their wins far exceed their deposits across Casino Rewards sites, and players agree that their gameplay data can be used to train AI models.

The lobby opens with Casino Rewards’ own exclusives, such as Gold Blitz Express, next to new releases like Wild Herd and Mega Eagle 2, and a section for exclusive and early-access titles. You’ll also find progressive jackpots, video poker, table games and a live casino with blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows running around the clock.
Under the Highest Win Rate Guarantee, the casino says it uses the highest RTP setting a provider offers, “typically ranging from 96% to 99.9%”. That’s about the game version you get, not a promise of winnings, as the disclaimer says.
Payments and Withdrawals
Captain Cooks uses the same Casino Rewards banking as Luxury Casino. Withdrawals start at $50, sit in pending for 48 hours (you can reverse them during that time), and are processed on the next business day. In the group’s banking FAQ, Canadian withdrawals go by CAD EFT/eCheck in 2–3 working days, to a Visa card in 3, or to Skrill in 1–3. Interac is offered for deposits but isn’t on the withdrawal list. A first payout to a new method can take 5–7 working days for extra checks.
One reviewer suggested shortening the pending period so winnings don’t get played back. If you know you’d be tempted to reverse a withdrawal, set a deposit limit before you start playing.
